Ever heard the story about the squirrel and the grasshopper? At least, I think it was a squirrel. Anyway, the point is the squirrel spent all summer gathering food for the winter and the grasshopper spent all summer hitting on cute female grasshoppers. When the winter came, the squirrel had all kinds of food to eat and the grasshopper starved to death.
The time will come when winter will ask you what you were doing all summer.
It doesn’t depress or inspire me, just reminds me to keep my priorities straight. Paying off my credit card IS more important than getting my nails done… sometimes :).

It depresses me and reminds me that I have no life. But on the other hand, it’s inspiring because it makes me want to get off my butt and do something so that this winter I won’t say that. =]

It makes me feel all kinds of emotions. At first I was like huh? and had to read it twice then it really made me think. For some reason it sounds a little sad and funny at the same time because uh….I still don’t get it (lol!)

I like it. It works well as a day to day reminder to do something useful.
