What Education do I need to become a Park Ranger in Alaska?
I live in AK and just recently got my AA degree in Fire Science. I am an EMT II or to the lower 48 an EMT Intermediate. I am also a liscensed Security Officer by the State Dept. of Public Safety and I’m 32. I don’t really want to be a police Officer or fire fighter, I want to be a Park Ranger. I know I’ll need training in this field but what kind? Will I need another degree, if so I’m good with it but what will the Division of Forestry want for education?

You would need a Bachelors Degree in Forestry. That is four years of college at most universtities that have a major for that field/
