If you really want to get an MBA, you need to know how you are going to apply it, what kinds of jobs you are looking for, and your future plans. You have two options:

1. Get your MS in IE and work for a company for a couple of years, then apply for the MBA. Cornell has a one-year MBA program specially designed for technical professionals who already have a master’s degree. Your MS will definitely boost your application.

2. Try applying again, but you need to understand why you got rejected and what are your weaknesses. Not enough work experience? Work for a couple of years and apply again. Didn’t get a high GMAT score? Practice for a few months and then apply again. You need to show these schools that you have leadership potential, and you can do this by forming clubs and organizations, volunteering in your community, and creating projects and implementing them.

MBA is always a good choice, but as compared to MS in ind. eng. It is very difficult, Now if you want to go for MBA I say, try Stanford, Lincoln business School, Or if you are willing to move, I say choose Washington university.
