If you are into fashion, Italy sets the world standard in this area. Just walking down an ordinary street, the way people dress looks like they are going to the opera every day. With regard to your questions, here are a few tips:

1. what are the rules of applying to study abroad? HOW do you apply?

You should first find the school that suits you best. Do a Google search on “Italian fashion school” for a start. After you have read about different schools, you should go to the schools’ websites and find out everything you can. They usually tell you how much it will cost to go there.

2. how much does studying abroad cost? I know that we need dorms and tuition and such. also, job searching is important there as well.

a. room & board

b. tuition

c. any travel or excursion costs (you’re going abroad, so take advantage of your location!)

d. clothing allowance (fashion is your thing, right!?)

The first two the school will be able to tell you, while c and d are budgeted by you.

3. do you know of any scholarships for studying abroad? and what are the best jobs while in school?

The school will have a financial aid office, and might be able to help you out. Also, if you do very well at a good school, your future income stream should allow you to pay back loans. If you are careful and don’t overburden yourself with loans, U.S. government subsidized loans (Direct Loans) are the best. http://www.ed.gov/

4. what is it like to study abroad? is it good or bad? does it help or not? is it stressful, especially with the different languages?

Any overseas experience is terrific for learning about another culture and widening your horizons. Learning about fashion in Italy will be one of the best experiences of your life.

AIFS is a program for high school students to study abroad

Look into Rotary Club scholarships, they also fund students to study overseas.

Get a copy of Transitions Abroad magazine, or go to the website to read articles about studying and interning abroad. This is a good source of information on programs for studying abroad.

When you get to college, your college will proably have a study abroad program. This is one of the easiest ways to go, because you pay the regular tuition and the only additional costs are the airfare and maybe housing

Studying abroad is not generally stressful, based on what people say. I’ve never heard anyone say they regret the experience. Most say it was wonderful and life changing and that they want to find a way to return to the country they lived in. You probably won’t need to be fluent in the language the classes will probably be taught in English, but it’s a good idea to learn as much as you can of another language

Studying abroad is probably the best thing you could do. Traveling to other countries is great, but you do not get an absolute feel of the culture and society untill you live there for at least a quarter. You will learn so much about different cultures and ways of life. It will really change your life. You will see America in a whole new light. You will really experience another country and immersed in it. You won’t be looking at it like a tourist, who sees it as if he was at the zoo watching. You will be living it, and learning so much.

Here is the process.

First of all you need to fulfill two kind of requirements.

1-University’s Requirements.

2-Embassy’s Requirements.

{1}University’s rquirements are, they demand educational record according to their marit(mostly “c”grade or better)and many universities require IELTS with score of 5.5 or above band(5.5 is least normaly they ask for 6 or 6.5).after you send the copies of your certificates to the university with admission and processing fee, they send you and admission confirmation letter , you take that letter to the embassy and than they ask you for their own requirements(Embassy’s requirements as stated above)

{2}Embassy’s Reqirements are,you need to give them prove of your financial capbilities for studying abroad(a letter from your sponser of guidant along with his bank statment to show you have enough money for studying abroad)

and aplication form and passport.

this is how to do it, if you’ve any further problem you can ask me at [email protected]
