LSAT Powerscore, weekend class worth it?
Favorite Answer
I took the PowerScore weekend course for the June LSAT, and I thought the class was more than worth the money. The teacher we had was entertaining but serious, and he definitely knew what he was talking about. The class moves quickly and covers a lot of topics, but they do revisit ideas and reinforce them throughout the class.
After the class there was homework to do that followed up on the ideas in the class–I did all of it. There’s also a help service, but I didn’t use it.
I was looking to bump up into the low 160’s and I feel like the class was a big part of the reason I ended up scoring a 167.
One note: bring some coffee for the afternoons. 8 hours in a day is lengthy, and you will want a pick me up around 3 or 4 in the afternoon.
