Depending on your occupation, all of it plus interest. If you are a teacher, or in nursing, or some other fields like that you will qualify for forgiveness for a portion. There are some jobs that will pay some for you as well. If you let me know what occupation I can direct you to the correct site.

The complete amount of the loan plus interest. For my first round of college (back in the late 80’s) I only had $1500 to pay off (went to state school, lived at home, scholorships and worked full time as well as full time student). I am going back in 08 to finish my Masters and work towards a doctorate. Am figuring will have nearly $50,000 in loans after that.
