Ok that is just my thoughts
You start out by connecting their experiences and knowledge with what you are teaching. Then, you build, basing new knowledge with their growing abilities and the foundations learned each previous day.
Does it work? Since my family didn’t know English when we went to school, you’d have to ask my family members:
State Assembly office manager
Research Chemist for Dupont
Child Psychologist
Tennis teaching pro
Auto service advisor
Postal worker
Teacher
Professional sports photographer
By the way, if the kids already knew the language, we wouldn’t have to teach them.
Good luck!
Try to input his language – English – pictorial or sign language or objects.
Have to be consistence!
