going back to school..?
i have been out of school for couple of years now.. and trying to go back.. what do i need to do??? ( maybe someone can give me like a step by step kinda thing.. hehehe)
i did go to community college couple years back.. and i do have a high school diploma..

First, decide on a college major. Then, go to college websites and/or call and ask for college catalogs to be mailed to you. Having read the college catalogs and websites, now you know which ones offer your major, which ones will likely accept someone with your grades, and how much tuition is. So, now you apply to some colleges. Then, apply for financial aid. Federal student aid is applied for by submitting a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov . Private scholarships are locatable through http://www.fastweb.com . You can also buy scholarship books through http://www.amazon.com . Also, you might contact the Financial Aid Office of the schools you’re applying to. Next, if going to college means moving accross the country somewhere, you might want to contact the Housing Office to apply to live in their dormitories or on-campus apartments. If you’re working for a living and just making sooooo much money that you can’t imagine yourself going back to being a starving student, then you can try finishing up by night classes at one of the local schools or finish your degree online.
