Educational Testing Service or ETS has lost my test results, can I take any legal action?
I was informed recently that my test, which I took over 3 months ago has been lost. They have informed me, they have done an extensive search and have come up with nothing. They have offered to refund me my money and allow me to sign up for an upcoming test (Next test is in a month). They want me to retake the test that I have already taken and they have lost. My question is as the title says. Can I take any legal action against the company for losing my test? Any help would be great thanks

Sadly, I don’t think you can take legal action and if you can, I don’t think you’d win. The ETS has little booklets of fine print for each of its tests and what they offered you is all that you are going to get: a refund or an opportunity to retake the test.
All I can tell you is to restudy the material and do your best.
Sorry that this probably wasn’t the answer that you were hoping for.
