The answer is -12 x^(11/12) this is because when multiplying two terms together with the same base, you simply add the exponents together. So, 2/3 + 1/4 becomes 11/12. the coefficients (-3 and 4) in front also multiply together to give you the -12.

Exponents can be added together if you are multiplying two things. Thus, (x^2)*(x^3) becomes (x^5).

Same is true with fractions. (x^1/2)(x^1/2) becomes (x^1).
