Does anyone still WRITE things down?
Appointments, birthdays, a journal, a note to remind yourself of something, a story or poem? Or, does everyone just use their computer for everything?

i keep a journal with quotes and thoughs and stuff…its pretty cool to look back on and i love writing by hand

Sure, Its a bit of a sickness – notes, notes and ideas. It is getting better – I now go out without them. Why I do take notes and where they are all leading to is unknown – its unplanned and its not a diary or journal – some are not even dated. I used to to do them on the pc – but with so many hackers gaining back door entrances and peeping into what I do without me seeing the intrusion I prefer to keep them away from the pc. There are too many thieves and eyes on this kid.
My email programs are hacked by clever means – for each email I read there is a copy being read by outside sources and they forget to check the mail as read then back again – I change passcodes but even that is a dangerous part of the pc.

I always write things down. My computer is veyr helpful but i love my date planner and my journal. having a journal makes me feel like a real person when the world is just insane. i also make homemade cards when i get in the mood. so no, not everyone uses computer for everything.

I write everything down. I’ve kept a journal since I learned how to write. I love to write, and often prefer that over typing.

Sure they do. That’s why Post-it notes still sell.
I don’t have the temperament for a journal, but I do have a notebook of assorted things: recipes, favorite poems, puzzles copied from friends.

I LOVE those fancy journals they have at the bookstores, I usually keep everything in there. That way, if my computer goes, I still have a back up!

I always write things down, esp since I can’t take my computer to the grocery store…. But yes I write notes other times….

i have a planner that is a little smaller then a normal notebook. It has a month view and a week view for a full year. I can’t have all my computers to have all the same dates filled in so it’s easier for me to carry a book

I use computer to remind me of yearly occassions like birthdays, anniversaries and for monthly reminders.
Use planner (to write down) for daily things to do.

I do both! I write some stuff down where I know I’ll see it , so if I need it for school I’ll type it out or if I have a birthday party to go to I’ll write it down. it all really depends
