Could someone please tell me the requirements for an international student who wants to do an MSc. in the US?

1. Test Scores: You will definitely need to take the TOEFL test as an international student unless your native language is English. You may also need to take the GRE – some programs may not require this test, but the majority do.

2. Application and application fee

3. Recommendations – usually three from professors and/or supervisors

4. Essays and/or Statement of Purpose

5. Financial Documents supporting evidence that you have enough funds for tuition and living expenses. Some programs require enough funds for a year, others require enough funds for the whole program (2 years or more). This is necessary if you are requesting an I-20 for a student visa.
