Are Left-handed people smarter?

Are left handed people smarter than right handed people?

I often think about it. Not to say that right handed people are stupid. Hey, some of my best friends are right handed! But, I’ve looked up on the subject and found many people who were left handed were also extreamly smart.

Albert Einstein was one of the smartest men around and still is…..even though he’s dead. He did all sorts of stuff. I can’t really think of any, but trust me he’s smart.He’s the one who did that whole E=MC SQUARE thing.

Paul Mcartney is only one of the founding members of noe of the most popular bands in the world! The Beatles! They completly changed the way music was heard and lead the way for the rolling stones.

Bill Gates invented the microsoft computer program. He’s like the richest man in the U.S. today.

A lot of other left haneded people that I think just prove my point are….Napolen, Beetoven, Piccaso, Leanardo Devinchi, Gandi, Bill Clinton, Osama Bin Laden, Eminem & …Any idea?

i heard something about how the left half of the mind is creative and the right half is like inteligence (or maybe its the opposite), but because left handed ppl use 1 part more (either the right or left depending on which is inteligence), they are indeed smarter.

not necesarilly smarter then right handed people, because everyone has thier own potential, but they are smarter then they would have been had they been right handed..

Actually the people you mention probably had a great work ethic…due to being left handed…schools used to make you learn to use the right..even though it was not natural, and many people had to work harder because of this..then that also may explain…Osama and Napoleon being there…I am ambidextrous…so would that make me smarter or dumber????or maybe lazier? My IQ is higher than my right handed sister, but, she worked a lot harder through school…I don’t really think it is very relevant.

I have read that left-handed people are smarter, but i know a lot of left handed people that are totally stupid!

I am sure how smart a person is has nothing to do with being left or right handed.

You just made yourself look stupid. I wouldn’t cite Eminem and Bin Laden to support my theory, they just make you look bad.

Anyway, I think intelligence is probably evenly spread out across the population. Maybe you’re looking for smart lefties and they’re popping up in front of your eyes.
