What can I do about this…?
I’m in my last year of school in New Zealand.
This year in English we studied ‘Blade Runner’ for our film studies and now we are studying ‘Brave New World’.
If any of you are familiar with the text, you’ll know they are both Science Fiction. I can not stand this genre. I put up with it during ‘Blade Runner’. I did very well in my essays but I still dislike it.
Today we got our ‘Brave New World’ text. I’m so unhappy about this. He said our novel would be different from the other texts we’ve studied this year.
This is going to affect my end of year results extremely.
What can I do?

talk to your teacher about the problem.. seriously.. if you don’t like it.. don’t stand for it.

in terms of acquiring knowledge you just have to bare certain things which on your own you wouldn’t like to do. each time you have an ordeal like that,take a dip breath n relax.
