Without a degree, you may be lucky to find a good job now, but if you lose it after a few years, you have nothing to fall back on. To be more secure, it is good to have a college degree now, and work you way up. With acquired skill and knowledge, even through the bad time, you will be more steady than others.

No, because the world has become a far more complex place, and most of the jobs out there require more knowledge than they used to. Think about it. It used to be that a secretary only had to know how to type, file, and answer a simple phone. Now, there is a huge list of computer programs that most employers are asking for knowledge of. Also, businesses are no longer willing to invest in major training programs for employees, who are likely only to stay for a short while, rather than spending their careers in one organization, so they need these employees to come in with more knowledge.

College is double important nowadays, the manual labor jobs are going oversees, and the foreign companies that are coming here want an educated work force.Our future as a nation is depending on a highly educated and technically advanced generation.

No going to college is one of life’s greatest treasures. You expereince a lot and grow a lot as an adult. It makes you grow up quickly because you screw up so much while you are there. Plus, if you work while in college it gives you a great sense of responsibility.
