Why is that the graduating age is different in different states?
I’m just sick of people asking me “You’re STILL in high school?!” in SoCal. Back in Miami, everyone in my class practically was born in October and they’re all in the same grade that I am. Why doesn’t this country have a unified system? And why is it a freaking crime for me to be a 17 year old senior (birthday is in the fall)?

In my state (Washington) kids have a 2 year period where they can start kindergarten, most kids start the 1st year is available but if the parents think the kid isn’t ready they will “hold them back” which usually means graduating when you are 19 or almost 19.
There is nothing wrong with being 17 or 18 when you graduate, that is the most common age, most people turn 18 sometime during their senior year, Florida must have a weird system.
Actually, it doesn’t matter two hoots what people say. The only ones who are commenting are the ones who are showing their ignorance, so don’t let it bother you.
