Why is a Bachelor’s Degree called that?
I know WHAT it is, but I don’t know why it’s called a “Bachelor’s Degree.” Same with “Master’s Degree.” Why is is called that?

Because people prefer it to baccalaureate which is the original name. That name referes to the crown of laurels placed upon the head of someone who has finished an educational program. Think of those old Greek statues.
Masters means YOU HAVE mastered a subject.
