It could stem from a meaningful life event. I’m not referring to a sex addiction or an addiction with seeing maked women, but a man could have had a family member (mother, sister, aunt, grandma, etc.) who had cancer of the uterus or something like that that they had passed away from and the man decides that he wants help other women with early detection and proper maintainence of the uterus, vagina, fallopian tubes, etc. He could have just been that good in school at diagnosing problems with above body parts. I don’t know. I haven’t met a male OB-GYN to ask him.

Well seeing privates is not the awnser because people don’t go to a gynecologist because they want to have sex they go because they have itching or a burning sensation or hives on their genitals.

They might just like that area of medicine or mabye a woman who was close to them died of something related to that (I cant name any fatal disease of hand except ovarian cancer but that is probably oncologists and gynecologists) and they want to dedicate thier lives to helping them.

I guarnte you that 99 percent of male gynecologists really want to help you.

It could simply be that the medical and scientific issues of female health are interesting to that individual. It could be that the individual sees a promising opportunity for sustaining a practice business-wise. No sane person becomes a GYN so that he can inspect women in that way, especially considering some of them will invariably be diseased.
