why are people so rude on the answers yahoo?

they have the comfort of anonymity, they’re cowards.

Some people are just down right mean…

But some of the question askers deserve it… Seriously… It is hard to believe that there are so many people in the world who are so lame and stupid (like the 15 year old girl who wants a baby, the high school freshman that wants you to look at her picture so you can tell her if she is pretty or not, the 12 year old boy who wants to nail his neighbor, the middle aged woman who wants to have a baby with her boyfriend without her husband finding out, the 16 year old girl who thinks she pregnant cause she had oral sex, the same lame myspace layout questions)…

It is hard to not be mean with postings like that…

But I agree that some people take it too far… especially in the Religion and Vegan area… I don’t understand why people push their opinions on others… It is not like different beliefs hurt you physically… Why can’t we all just get alone…

For the same reason people are rude anywhere. Some people are just rude people. Some people are not. Some people are stupid, and naturally those people will say stupid things. It is human nature.

Because they are theoretically anonymous, they are just acting out. Looking for points I guess….

But yes, people can be VERY rude…. or they can give VERY stupid answers.

Of course, some of the questions that are posed aren’t that great either. But your question is valid….

I tend to think they feel bad about themselves, and are just trying to left themself up by putting someone else down. It becomes hard to deal with on there sometimes. I just get tired of it, it’s especially frusting for me when I realize the person being rude is an adult. You’d think after just living for so long they’d figure out a better way to deal with their problems.

I think it is because:

Some people are immature.

Some people are ignorant.

Some people simply like to get a rise out of everyone b/c they don’t get enough attention in real life.

Not all people though. I know I try to answer questions to the best of my ability. But yes, some of the people on here are jerks.

Because some people ask stupid questions sometimes, but mostly is beacuse they want attention and to gain points.

They can hide behind their computer screens without fear of repercussion. I’m sure if you met them in real life they are actually decent people. The internet seems to bring out the worst in people.

It makes some people feel better about themselves to make fun of others or put them down. It gives them a feeling of superiority, when in reality, most people can see right through it.

No Social Life! Their lonely.
