Which SAT subject test should i take?
i plan to take it in this Nov.
i will take math II for sure
for the other two , i am thinking about Chemstry, US HIstory, literature or Chinese
Chemistry and literature are challenging,
since i am a chinese, i will certainly do well if i take the Chinese test, but i heard some schools won’t accept it , because it is my native language
i took the AP US history, should i still take the subject test?
P.s. i want to study business

AP US History should have prepared you well for the subject test, so you can go ahead and take it. You should go ahead and do the Chinese if you are really good at it–some schools will care that you can do well on that test. Really, what tests you take can depend on your major–like do Chemistry or Biology if you want to do pre-med. If you want to do more tests than just three to show them that you are good at a lot of things, then go ahead and do them.

You should take Literature and Chinese. By the way, you only need 2 SAT subject tests. There’s no need to take 3. Don’t over do it. Subject tests aren’t as crucial.

everything that you do, keep in mind what the college you are interested in will take. for example, some will have chemistry subject tests as a requirement and others will not. make sure you check the college website to figure out what they require. trust me. you do not want to be where you are applying for colleges and find that you didnt have to take this course or that subject test. it would be such a waste of time studying and stressing over it when you didnt have to take it.

Don’t take Chinese: if you bubble in an answer wrong, your 790 will look pathetic.
I advise that you take history and chemistry–it shows that you are well rounded and analytical. However, you will have to do some self-studying for the Chem.

i think you should take the literature…you want to appear well rounded when you are trying to enter college…usually if you are great in math you are great in chemistry or any science…i think taking literature will show that you are great in writing and thinking outside the box. im pretty sure you will do fine.
