which is more accurate of the methods in finding volume, water displacement or geometric measurement?
the object is a coin column…geometric measurement is using by its dimension to the formula for getting the volume of a cylinder v=2(pi)(r^2)(h)

I would trust water displacement more than the other method.

Water displacement will tell you how much water the cylinder volume displaces and is as accurate as the instruments used in determining the result and your technique.if you read them accurately. Using measurements taken with a ruler and calculating using a formula is accurate, but only as accurate as your least accurate measurement. Even if you get figures in several decimal places, that is not accurate if you only measured to one decimal place.
