Where did the term “sho ’nuff” come from?

It is a slang version of the words “sure enough’. There was also a movie called The Last Dragon about a young man who idealizes Bruce Lee and he ends up fighting a guy by the name “Sho ‘Nuff”

It’s a shortened version of “sure enough”. I don’t know the actual origins of the phrase, however my guess is that someone wanted to get sure enough out even faster.

Yeah, it comes from sure enough but it was made famous by a character from the last dragon by that name.
