freshman and sophmore year in high school you should find out what you would like to do for a living generally speaking. You could love business, or art. Let’s say you like art. In junior year, you talk to you guidance counselor and talk about good art colleges that you can get into judging by your transcript. Remember, art is general, it does not get into specifics. IE, you could love doing sculptures which is art, and you can also hate painting or something. Junior year and senior year, try to narrow down what you might want to major in in college. Then when you are in college, instead of taking a lot of gen eds trying to find out what you would like to do, you already know you want to do this and that in this field, and one step ahead of the game. For right now, just worry about getting good marks, participating in clubs, community service and so forth. Maybe worry about other things like if you want to stay in state, big campus, small campus, visit the closest college/university by you and so forth. During Freshman year, you don’t really need to worry about much.

You shouldnt worry about college at all.If you get good grades and participate in comunity service and extra curricular activities getting into a good college should be no problem. There is no rush to go to college directly after high school. Many people i know did not go to college until they were in there mid 20’s.If your just starting your freshman year i wouldnt worry too much about it.If you find a great college now you will likely change your mind by senior year alot can happen in 4 years especially in high school.Just try and find things you like, both in and out of school, to get an idea of what you would like to do when you graduate.
