Something nice…with something sexy underneath so you both have a little secret to giggle about during the ceremony ; )

It depends on the enviroment, but have him dress nicely. Nice pants, a shirt, and a tie would be enough–he might be okay without the jacket. Now if you are having to graduate outside in the Arizona heat(I am just making up an example), he probably should be more dressed down.

I would have to say comfortable clothes suitable for the occassion. I graduated in May and my husband wore a suit to the outside ceremony. Needless to say, he was very uncmfortable sitting through the four hour ceremony in 95 degree weather. Definitely light, casual attire. Congratulations!!!

If it is outside – have sympathy on him in the south and let him wear a polo shirt or something. Inside – he needs a shirt and tie. It is semi formal – he does not need a jacket.

A suit would be nice, if you are wearing a nice dress underneath your cap and gown.

he should dress like he is going for an interview. Nice, i mean you don’t want him looking bummy while you introduce him to your friends. you want to be proud you have a handsome husban. he should wear a dress pant , dress shoe ans i nice dress shirt. clean cut.

khakis and a button down will work. I’ve seen suits and I’ve seen black dress slacks, button down and a tie…it also depends where it will be held, who will be speaking, etc.
