I’m guessing that you haven’t started college yet. So many college freshman think that they need to pick a major before starting. Your interests change a lot while in college so I suggest that you start by just taking general ed classes and maybe a few intro classes. I actually have my Bachelors in Fashion Merchandising. It’s an extremely competitive environment. I also discovered that you don’t even really need the degree…a lot of people in the business don’t have one. But a Fashion Design degree is a good thing to have. Take an intro class to see if you have the talent and interest before making any decisions.

You don’t go to college to become a lawyer – you go to college to get a BA or BS. You have to go on to law school AFTER college to get a law degree. I’m not trying to patronize you here – I just want you to see that you can get a Bachelor’s degree in fashion – whether in the States or Italy or wherever – and, if you decide that route isn’t going to work out, you can go to law school or grad school later on. You don’t need to figure that out just yet.

Law schools don’t really care what your Bachelor’s degree is in – honestly. They look at your grades and your LSAT scores. They may care about the difficulty level of your classes at the undergrad level, so just take a few philosophy classes, or political science, etc.. – you’ll need to take them anyway for a good Bachelor’s degree.

but, whatever you do, get a 4 yr degree from a decent school – don’t just get a fashion design degree – make sure you get a Bachelor’s degree with a major in fashion design. That way, no matter what you decide to do after graduation, you have a 4-yr degree.

Ultimately, you’ve got to follow your heart. Otherwise, you may spend the rest of your life regretting it. On the other hand, studying abroad in Italy would be quite expensive. You might consider whether it would pay off in the end. What is the likelihood of this trip to Italy leading to a promising career in fashion?

Perhaps you could do both. Study fashion while filling your elective classes with ones that are pre requisites for law school. You can see if this is an option by asking your prospective colleges if they have a pre-law program.

you’re fantastically formidable. best for you. nicely, to start with, what’s your considerable? i’m a finance pupil, and at my college on my first 300 and sixty 5 days I chosen a political technology classification as an non-obligatory. It became referred to as comparative politics. After taking that classification, I knew that it wasn’t for me lol. I had each and every form of electives between them what you have indexed. some regrettably want specific instructions accomplished so as which you will join into them. you ought to envision with your college. Mine has those form of instructions and that i will take them despite if it is not obligatory for my considerable. while you’re merely going to take those instructions as an non-obligatory then take a pair each and each direction once you join and it won’t take you long. in case you nonetheless have not desperate what to considerable in, then save on with for the only which you’re maximum leaning in direction of. relax certain, you will not start up taking instructions distinctive to your considerable till your 2d 300 and sixty 5 days probably. in case you took a political technology classification and enjoyed it even nevertheless you utilized for permit’s say psychology; you may swap the subsequent direction. you ought to finished familiar instructions before taking specific instructions to your considerable (my univ: 14 familiar instructions). My college is fantastically distinctive in it extremely is departments so I won’t have plenty hassle switching because of the fact i will nonetheless be in a similar college yet some universities don’t have plenty selections. pick properly whilst enrolling in spite of the shown fact that it quite should not be a subject. good success, i be conscious of ways it feels whilst selecting a considerable. it extremely is annoying yet after finally figuring it out, it extremely is absolutly marvelous!

You should double major. You can take the time now to study something you love and something “realistic.” Whatever path you end up on, you can always take a turn later down the road.

Fashion is really hard to get into. There is a lot of competition, but it would never hurt to try. I don’t know, it really is a personal decision.
