what should i be?
so i like working with children, but hate to be a teachers. i plan on going to a university but i dont know what to major in… this is something thats been bugging me since freshmen year, help PLEASE haha 🙂
oh and i also thought of becoming a children librarian too

What about a school guidence counsler. That way you don’t have to be a teacher but you get to work with children. Its a win win!

Maybe a paediatrician, a paediatric psychologist, a paediatric dentist, an educationalist, a social worker, a junior sport team coach, or any job that requires working a lot with children, it all depends on what you love and what you are good at. Anyway, a headmaster is suitable ’cause you don’t have to teach but still be in contact with children. And anytime you feel love being a teacher again, teaching is always the best.
All in all, I think you should be a parent, so you’ll be able to work with children! (only joking haha)

To work in a school library you must have a teaching certificate, so that might be the thing to do.

u can be a pediatrian, its a good paying job n u spend lots of time with kids. or u can be a babysitter. pediatrian is way better
