what’s the importrance of information technology? the significance of it in some various parts of life…?

Technology opens our eyes and mind to what we as humans, couldn’t do ourselves. I mean what with all that technology has come along, it helps us with homework, medical care, cooking, people can get advice and help for certain aspects of their life.

I think the importance is in the fact that it can (1) free people from tedious and error-prone routine computation; (2) help peolpe to communicate better; (3) help in automated reasoning to discover some hidden facts that are not easy to discover manually.
