I’m looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

Before the changes the sentence was a combination of past and present tenses.

It sounds clumsy and insincere. The first half of the sentence sounds polite, the second half sounds more urgent.

You should say either, “I look forward to hearing from you,” (You are not requiring that the person contact you at a given time) OR you should say,”Please contact me as soon as possible,” in which case you mean that you DO need to hear from them asap.

Can you see hearing?

How about “I wish to hear from you as soon as possible.”

I would remove the “as soon as possible” part.

Grammatically and puctuation wise, it’s OK. Whether the statement is sincere is another issue entirely.
