What major would be best to double with a political science major?

I know that I want to major in Political science and have the option to do a double major. What would be best to combine with that?

I like history a lot, so that is an option, and internation studies is another option

Any other suggestions?

This is actually something I am considering too!

I also have a strong interest in history, however, I don’t think that I would major, or minor, in it. I am strongly considering philosophy, which would help you think about a lot of the things you will learn from your political science major in different perspectives. Another major I was considering is psychology, but there are some aspects of it that don’t fit into my mindset or interests (the math portion!! 😛 ). Internation studies is also an awesome idea, if you find a school that has it.

The main ones I am considering for myself as either double majors or minors are: English and Literature, Philosophy, and International Relations (alongside Pol. Sci.).

P.S. – Chose a double major that you would like to explore alongside Political Science instead of one that would “fit” with Pol. Sci. The reason I say this is because you might want to take your mind off of politics, history, etc. and “let loose” in another subject area too.

I hope this helps, best of luck! 🙂
