The population of Castle Rock was almost 1,281 in 1959…

and around 1500 as it’s final “age”

Which Castle Rock are you asking about? Because although the book was set in Maine, the movie was set and filmed in Oregon.

And it was 1960 in the book, and 1959 in the movie, so do you want the populations from back then? Anyway, I believe it is a fictional town, isn’t it?
