What is high school like in South Korea?
I’m starting a year-long student exchange to South Korea next month. Does anyone know what I should expect from my high school?

Korean students work much harder in high school than in countries such as UK and USA. The parents in the past did not have the same opportunities and as a result of this the parents and grandparents seem to put the children under huge pressure to study study study.
Many high school kids to go to evening institutes and schools (Hagwons) also i.e. to study English etc. Many high schoolers study 12 hours a day.
