What does “body of opinion” mean?
I am an English student in Korea. I can’t figure out the meaning of body of opinion. Please help me…

It just means an unknown group of people have that thought.
It is used when someone is tiring to make a point and they have no hard facts to back what they are saying up.

I am not sure but I think it is used to indicate collective opinion as opposed to opinion expressed by an individual.

It means a specific view and the group of people that share that view.
