What department in university should I look under for veterinary studies?

It depends what kind of a university it is. A general univ will have it in a different department than say a specialised univ like say an agricultural university.

Not only that, but different universities have different ways of naming their departments.

So it’s really hard to say.

If you’re looking through a list, pick out one (or a few) that have to do with animal sciences or husbandry or farming, etc.

If you’re on the phone, just say you want veterinary studies and the operator should direct you to the correct department.

Many schools have vet science under their College of agriculture. If you are looking for vet schools they have their own listings.
