Actually, a lot of the colleges in the US and in NY specifically offer admissions – sometimes right up until the first day of class. Whether or not they still have spaces available is something you’ll need to investigate, so you’ll have to contact their admissions departments and ask:

1) Can you still apply for fall, and

2) Do they have spaces available in the class, and in their housing?

I’ll give you list of a few schools that you can start with. I’d try calling each one ASAP, because they’ll continue to fill their classes until they run out of room, and worse, housing tends to fill quickly, so fast action on your part will be important.

Your real issue is your GPA. Many colleges require higher than a 2.0 from their transfer students. So, in addition to possible four-year schools that may work, I’m also including the NY community colleges that actually have very nice campusy-campuses, including residence halls. That might be a good option for someone on a tight schedule, such as yourself. I’ll also only include four-year schools which may accept a transfer with your GPA.

-Finger Lakes Community College

-Herkimer County Community College

-Globe Institute of Technology (NYC)

-Monroe Community College

-Dowling College

-Morrisville State College

-Nyack College

-Monroe College

-Molloy College

I hope this helps you get started. Good luck.

there rnnt many but u could try bmcc. they have very late registration. i think they had orientation and sign up only a week ago.

you could also go to the housing departments at nyu, columbia, bmcc, cuny and suny to check. your best bet is just renting an apartment. its cheaper and more available. plus with the subway system the exxtra distance doesnt matteer too much.
