what colleges could you get into with a 970?
im 13 and i took the sat..im just curious where i could go with a 970 if i was a college bound student

Don’t believe them that you could go no where. There are schools that will take you, not Ivy league, but there are places you could go. Right now you are 13, I am guessing that by the time you are at the end of your Junior year you will have a very good score and will not need to worry about it. Honestly, at 13, I don’t think I could have gotten a 1000. But, after high school I did really well. Keep going and studying and you will raise that score by PLENTY.

That is the greatest score, you should probably try retaking the test. If you were to get into a college with that SAT score it would probably be a school that does not require the SAT or a school that is not very competitive. Try studying a bit more and taking some practice test, then take the SAT again. There isn’t any need to rush, you usually take the SAT during your Sophomore/Junior year in high school. Good Luck!

Before your junior year (11th grade), take an SAT class or get a tutor.
Check with companies such as Kaplan and the Princeton Review, which specialize in this stuff.
You’ll get a better score when you’re in your Junior year, your 970 now will get you nowhere.

You could get into a community college. But I’m sure if you take it again when you’re older you’ll get a higher score.
