I want to start taking community college classes, what are the prerequisites and regular courses for Radiology?

To be a radiologist you need to get an M.D. and a specialty residency in radiology. There are probably classes you can take to become a radiology technician that are less demanding..

A radiologist is a doctor who specializes in the interpretation of medical images such as MR scans, CT scans, radiographs, nuclear medicine scans, mammograms and sonograms. A radiologic technologist is the x-ray tech who takes the pictures. Big difference in schooling, responsibility, and pay!

There’s no radiology undergrad major. You have to go to med school for that. Major in biology. If you don’t get into med school (and theres a good chance you wont because your in a community college now) you can always fail back on it (its better than a pre-med).
