How can I better myself?

I have gotten some jobs where I have to open myself up and talk to people I dont even know so I now have more confidence in myself and I have broken my shell and I am no longer shy with people. But in school I always made A B honor roll..since I went to high school (2 yrs ago) my grades have slipped.

now I make As Bs and Cs and I goofed with a few Ds but I managed to pass with a C. so my question is what can I do to make my education a more rewarding experience..so I can go to college and full fill my dreams? Also when is a good time to look into colleges? I already know what I want to do. I want to be a CRNA. [certified registerd nurse anesthetist]

any thoughts, suggestions?

thanks!

Everyone has a different learning method. Some people are auditory learners, some are visual learners etc. Figure out what kind of learner you are by starting to pay attention to how you absorb and learn information (no matter what kind of information it is). Once you learn more about YOUR own learning process, then you can apply that to your education and you will see a difference.

As a CRNA, you’re going to have to memorize parts of the body etc. (when this time comes, depending on your style of learning, you could make flash cards, record yourself talking and listen to it a few times etc.)

(Im currently a college student and it’s a hell of allot harder to maintain good grades now than it was in high school. My freshman studies class helped me figure out what type of learner I was and how to apply it to my learning process and it really helped me…you might have a similar class, if not the same as one).

Good luck 😉

Start studying harder and paying attention in class. You will have trouble getting into college without a good GPA. You’re moving into the years where grades really, really count.
