my kids really like dr. seuss, arthur, curious george, and there are a ton of free games online like funschool.com

i forget who they’re by, i will ask my daughter when she comes home from summer reading camp, but there are books out there that show the story (in the center of the opened pages) and on the left page is what the previous page is about and on the right page is what the next page is about…my 5 yr old benefitted from those, it shows children how to understand a story and to look forward to what can happen next.
