i need help with a math question!?

i need to solve an inequality….

the question is

4y > 24 (and i have to graph it) _________________________

just tell me how to do it or give me an answer lol!!

draw a straight line crossing the y axis at 6 and shade everything higher than the line

the graph has x any y axis draw this its like a plus sign

the question is 4y >24….. this means any number you multply with 4 and get the answer bigger than 24 should be ploted on the side of x axis example

yaxis -6, x axis is 24,7 is y, x is 28, this is 4 multiplicatin but answers greater than 24 shade the area of x side on the graph

inequalities work very much like equalities (equations) so

4y >24 becomes y>6 by diving both sides by 4

you devide 4 by both sides… then u get:

y > 6

then you go up six and plot the point
