Well your question is a bit strange I do know that wherever you send thousands of males they always require thousands of hookers, thats just a fact of life. No battalion or regiment commander expects their troops to stay celibate while theyre so far away from the comforts of home. Prostitutes are regular visitors to army bases worldwide. The poverty angle happens when a countries infrastructure is bombed or food and water supplies are destroyed. In Iraq the British army trucked in water around Basra, Iraqi doctors reported that the water caused babies to suffer from diareah constantly and many died as a result of drinking that water. American GI’s continue to be hauled before the media for crimes like raping 14 year old girls and shooting them once theyre finished. And there are several reports of British troops travelling around baghdad dressed as Arabs planting IDE’s all over the place.

1) Violence: war kills people; soldiers are encouraged to see the enemies as non human (“gooks”, etc.) in order to make it easier to kill them

2) Poverty : war destroys civilian targets; creates refugees; bombs hospitals; causes lost property & animals & hurts the land for growing crops

3) Sex exploitation: rape is common in war; young girls are exploited as prostitutes
