University of Toronto?

I’m an Italian student who will be a permanent resident in Canada. I’m going to stay in Toronto. I’m 18 and I finished high school in Italy. I would like to know if there’s a possibility to enter the University of Toronto with an Italian “Diploma”. What should I do to study there? Thanks in advance.

The U of T is one of the Best Universities in North America and has many different courses you can take. It also has several campus’ for the various programs. It’s all on their web page.

I have attached the link to the U of T for prospective students to assist you. I don’t know if it accepts the diplomas from Italy but most likely it does if you have the appropriate level of education to qualify.

Canada is a very diverse country with many nationalities. We have a very large Italian community in Toronto so you will be able to find many places and activities to make you feel at home.

You will need to contact the University to find out if your Diploma is accepted but the qualifications are on their page, if you need more information you can also contact them.

As far as I know, the university does accept applicants from Italy. You can refer to this page to see which high-school diploma from your home country meets their standards: http://www.adm.utoronto.ca/adm/adm_intl_req/adm_international_requirements.htm#I

Generally speaking though, admission requirements vary depending on your program of study, so it’s best to contact the admissions department (or the department you want to study in) and have them assess your high-school grades and courses for elegibility. They’ll also let you know which documents are necessary (like English test results, etc.) in addition to your application. You can access the contact info from the link ‘unknown friend’ has posted.

Best of luck.
