The most useful thing you brought to college?
So I’m going into my freshman year of college. What are some items I might overlook that are useful in the dorm life? Like, one of my older friends told me they used a lot of paper towels.

a dictionary, english/writing guide: like the Brief Holt Handbook for APA and MLA writing styles, and paper plates.

1) A couple of distinctive bath towels that you like.
2) Plenty of medicinal & health things you’ll need (like contacts solution), that may be cheaper if bought at your home town.
3) Some posters or knick-knacks from home, so you don’t feel so lonely.
4) A bedspread that you really like, especially if made by a relative.
5) Your address & telephone number book, of friends.
6) Any musical instruments that you play, and the sheet music or book music.
7) A good desk dictionary and thesaurus.
8) Notes and books from your advanced high school classes in your major, plus foreign language, if you’ll continue it.

My Brain…. lolol it depends what school your going to and what your studying… I’m an International Studies (Middle East concentration and Arab language) and French Major at Middlebury College… The thing I found most useful was a Foreign Affairs subscription… Also if your moving far from home an account with your favorite airline (I’m from France so i’ve racked up alot of miles)
