I might have failed my comptuer class in college. What is going to happen?

What’s going to happen depends on your GPA. If the F brings your GPA below a certain point (which varies by school), you may be looking at academic probation or suspension if you were already on probation. If you were fine GPA-wise, then you’ll have to retake the class if it was required.

If the class was not required, then a retake is up to you, but consider the following factors:

Why did you fail the class (didn’t try hard enough? didn’t understand the material? weren’t interested in the class? etc.)

Does your school offer an option that allows you to retake the class and replace the F, or would the two grades just get averaged together? If the grade won’t be replaced, then there’s no particular reason to retake it unless it’s required.
