I have seen many conflicts begin because of misinterpretations in email. Implied tone and attitude are often the result. Email has no personality and it is easy to be misunderstood.

-Family time in general. Kids spend time surfing the Internet and playing games online, or else e-mailing and instant-messaging and texting friends. Parents who used to be able to talk to their kids are now often faced with a dismissive, “I’m busy!” And for many, most of the family time nowadays is spent around the television. Sitting around a talking box doesn’t quite strengthen communication between the listeners.
