Study for GRE?
How long have people here studied for their GRE test?
And what would you recommend someone else studying (who is currently 1 semester away from her bachelors)?

I personally studied for about 2 months in preparation for the GRE. I went at it pretty hard, about an hour a day, but I was really satisfied with my results. I would suggest taking a few practice tests first to see how you do. That should allow you to gauge what you should work on and how much time to devote to studying. It also does depend on the type of programs you are aiming to pursue. I know for my field of study (economics), schools are not terribly interested in your verbal score.
However long you study, remember that the GRE is beatable if you are relentless. Hope this advice helps. Good luck!
