solve using factoring method?
ok, I can’t seem to get this factoring. Especially with fractions. Please help explain. Thank you in advance.
x/3 – 3/x = -8/3
and..
1/x + 1/x+4 = 1/7
I get confused at eliminating the fractions. That seems to have me stuck. I tried to do it with fractions in and got all confused.

x/3 – 3/x = -8/3
Multiply each figure by 3:
x – 9/x = -8
Multiply each figure by x:
x^2 – 9 = -8x
Set equation equal to zero by adding 8x to both sides:
x^2 + 8x – 9 = 0
Factor:
(x+9)(x-1) = 0
x = -9 or 1
0
x/3 – 3/x = -8/3
(x^2-9)/3x = -8/3 cross multiply
(x^2-9) x 3= -8 x 3x
3x^2 -27 = -24x
3x^2+24x – 27 = 0
3x^2 +27x-3x – 27=0
3x(x+9) -3(x+9)= o
(3x-3)(x+9)=o
3x=3 ,, x=-9
x=1 ,,, x=-9 u can do other in this fashion
