should i even go to college???
ok well im a high school senior who got rejected from every school i applied towards. i have to say i dont have any motivation to learn anything, and that is shown by my high school gpa (1.4). i have gotten all D’s and a few C’s here and there. my SAT score was like 1300/2400. the only good thing that happened to me during high school was that i mistakenly got placed into an ap calculus class and managed to pass the exam by some luck. i really dont think that matters, but anyhow, i really dont make an effort at learning so it seems i should just forget about this whole college thing. any advice as to what i should do? should i start thinking things over and go to some CC? i told my situation to many people and they say the world has changed and that education is extremely important… im just lost…Perhaps i should get a job for the time being? i really don’t know…

I have known plenty of people who messed around in high school and didn’t go to college right away. But in the end they got stuck with horrible low paying jobs and hated their lives. You are still very young and you have many options. College is almost mandatory now. You could go to community college to raise your GPA and get out with an associates degree. Don’t give up, learn your options. I think you will be much happier if you find a way to make it work. good luck to you 🙂

Someone with your grades is fretting about going to a community college? CC sounds like your best bet, cheap, open acceptance, and you can figure out what you want to do with yourself.
If you get a job now, you’ll realize how important education was and want to go back … hopefully not too late.

well since there is nothing else you can do about a 4 year, then go full time to a cc and get a part time job

Going to college is very important. You should had applied to bad colleges, they would have accepted you. I guess you need to apply for college next year.
