SAT/ACT required if transfering from CC to CSU?

I’m going to be transferring from a community college to a CSU that requires SAT scores. But considering that I’d be a transfer student, does it still apply to me? And if it does, can I send in my scores from while I was still in high school?

Depends on which CSU you are talking about, almost all California universities require a competitive SAT score from transfer students who have acquired less than 32 credits. In general, transfer students are held to much higher admission standards than their freshman counterparts.

You should not have to retake your SATs. Generally all the new university will want is your college level coursework.

I transferred from Houston Community College to Colorado State University in 2005, and that’s all I had to send (plus essay and application fee, of course).
