just take a pencil and some paper ur not really gonna learn anything they are just gonna tell you about the class and give u a syllabus. Don’t worry!

I guess determining what to bring with you would really depend on the college you’re attending, but I can tell you what I bring on my first day of every semester. At my college, our professors tell us the textbooks required on our first day of class, so I usually just show up with a notebook or a decent amount of looseleaf paper as well as a pen or pencil, in order to take notes if necessary. Personally, I have big breaks between classes, and because I don’t live on campus, I will also bring my laptop with me to occupy my time.

Other items to bring depend on your own feelings. For example, if you’re taking a math class that day, you may want to have a calculator on you, although its most likely completely unnecessary. My first day of my first semester, my Calculus class actually began to work, but it was all work that could be done in our head.

Aside from that, don’t forget to bring your brain, and enjoy your college experience 🙂

I would suggest taking your books, a couple notebooks…a binder if you find it neccessary…pens, paper, pencils. The basics. Most instructors will give you a syllabus the first day and tell you if they expect any specialty items such as computer disks, recorders…etc. I would also suggest carrying a light snack because sometimes it helps to boost your energy. Other than that IPod, Cell…or whatever else you would normally carry with you.

what is “ragging”

are you dorming? if so, bring bedding stuff. bring some kind of lock to store all your valuables because your roommate could be a klepto. also, bring a credit/debit card. uhm…other than that, everything else you can buy.

If you’re going off to college maybe what you should do is take a crash course in grammar.
