I’ll guess this means that they want the mean, median, mode and range. I don’t know what the fifth would be. Standard deviation?

Mean is the average: add up all the numbers and divide by how many numbers you have.

Mode: Which number shows up most often?

Median: the middle number, when the numbers are arranged sequentially.

Range: difference between the highest and lowest numbers.

I hope this is what you are looking for.

First put all the numbers in order:

185, 208, 233, 235, 281, 318, 335, 392, 518

The minimum is 185

The maximum is 518

The middle value, also known as the median or second quartile (Q2) is 281.

Now take the lower half: 185, 208, 233, 235 and determine the median. The first quartile or Q1 is the average of 208 and 233.

(208 + 233)/2 = 220.5

Now take the upper half: 318, 335, 392, 518 and find the median. The third quartile or Q3 is the average of 335 and 392.

(335 + 392)/2 = 363.5

hope that helps!

Five number summary is 1. minimum (lowest or smallest) 2 lower quartile (cuts of lowest 25% 3. medan (middle value) 4. Upper quaritle (cuts of highest 25%) 5. maximum (largest) The easiest way to find them is to do as Birdwoman1 says.

positioned the selection so as: Min = first selection Q1 = 0.33 selection Q2 = 5th selection Q3 = seventh selection Max = final selection Q2 is an identical through fact the median Q1 is the median of the decrease 50% Q3 is the median of the better 50%
